About
A career spent on the inner work of leadership.
I have spent twenty-seven years in human resources — twenty-two in corporate roles, several of them in senior EMEA HR leadership, and a number of years in interim work besides. In 2026 I founded Vantaris Consulting to do the work I had come to care about most: helping accomplished leaders develop the parts of themselves that titles, targets, and competency models never reach.
My work is built on the Alchemy of Leadership — a developmental framework drawing on Jungian and Adlerian depth psychology, complexity science, and affective neuroscience. It is organised around five elements, four archetypes, and the old alchemical stages of transformation, from nigredo to coagula.
I am British-Hungarian, based in Budapest, and I write and work in both English and Hungarian. Away from the desk, I am drawn to medieval and jazz music, to literature, and to ancient history — the long view tends to make better company than the quarterly one.
Competence earns the role. Character is what the role then asks for.
